Teachers

I would like to dedicate this article to all the students, especially Malaysia students:

I have something to share with you all and all this is my experience. Being a secondary student for seven years, including this year, I have met many kinds of teacher. Take BTT as an example. My school used to shut the gate at 7.25am. And one day, I reach school at 7.20am(my clock shows so), plus the time taken for me to walk until the gate from the place where I parked my car, it won't take more than 3 minutes. When I reached the gate, I saw the guard shut the door. For god sake!! I quickly rush to there and ask the guard to open the door for me. Then he said it is 7.25am now, and he asked me to take the front door. SHIT!!! Without hesitating, I replied him that my watch shows 7.20am!! He seemed reluctant to open the door for me, and mind you, I am not in a good mood at that moment, so obviously he saw my redden face which looks like a volcano ready to erupt. After a while, he opened the door for me. And that BxxxH (BTT) told me not to late next time. And these following words gun out from my mouth : I'm not late. My watch shows 7.20am. Then I just walked away. That teacher shouted at me, saying that my watch is late. Ok! Enough! You said my watch is late, then can I said that your watch is faster than mine? BxxxH!!! You thought everyone in the school will have the same time as shown in your watch?!?!?! The main point is, don't just look at something from your own point of view or base on your own stand. Think of the others too.

Next, I would like to take the morning assembly as my next example and also the next point. During every morning assembly in my school, we will sing the national anthem, the state anthem and the school anthem as well. And I noticed that all the students are singing out loud, though some of them sing out of tempo(don't know they are doing it on purpose or...), but at least we sing. Ok? At the mean time, most teachers aren't singing. During the assembly, teachers always ask the students to sing it out loud, but the teachers are not singing at all. They are just standing like a statue. In my opinion, teacher, suppose to be the role model of the students, should have sing along with the students. Otherwise you don't have any convincing reason to ask people to sing. How embarrassing is this!! I know, if I said this to them, the teachers will think that I am a bad students or what. But tell you what, as a students, I strongly believe that we have our own rights and we should protect our rights as well. But, pathetically, somehow, in the school, the management of the school is something more to dictator than democracy. When the students did something wrong, they are wrong.(Indeed). If they did something wrong, they are actually right. They will also come out with a lof theories of life to turn their accidental mistake into a purposeful mistake. Of course, not all the teachers are this kind of teacher, just, some.

Other than that, I have attended quite a number of leadership training camp, and a phrase I remember the most was this:"If you want to be a leader, you have to be part of the member." Just like what is applied to the police, you want to catch the thief, you have to think like a thief. So, teachers in the school, to lead the students, their have to understand what the student is thinking, they have to know what student needs, what student wants and don't want, what student likes and dislikes. In the school, I realized that not many teacher manage to do it, in fact, most of the teacher prefer dictator style. They don't understand what student wants, need, or like. Of course, you can't just go to the students and ask them:"What you want huh?" I bet 99% will keep quiet or perhaps, say something that is rubbish. Eg. I want to eat KFC!!! (sweat)

To be honest, I have plenty to share with you all, but too bad I had forgotten some of them. So this is so much that I can share with you all. Please fell free to drop any comment if you have any and let us share our view together. Thanks. Lastly, thanks for the time spent on reading this article.
